He seems to have enjoyed the day almost as much as I did and it was special to me that we were able to make the visit together.

 I am writing to say how much I enjoyed my visit to you.

The staff put themselves out to build the time you have booked into a fantastic few hours.

I suffer from COPD and really appreciated the fact that they took me to the field by car as I have difficulty in walking any great distance to fly a bird.

I was lucky as I had a barn owl. Before this I was introduced to and able to handle various species of birds which you normally only can dream about.

I would like to say thank you to you all and keep up the good work as for people like me it is probably our only chance of getting close to these beautiful birds.

To anyone else who might read this if you want a really interesting experience and you love owls,hawks and eagles then pay Sharon a visit as I think you will have to go a long way to find anything better.

SCHOOL/EDUCATIONAL VISIT

In the summer holidays I ran a day for Gifted and Talented students and decided upon Birds of Prey as a theme. I was given Sharon's name by a colleague and so made a booking. I am pleased to say that the day was a huge success which can be attributed to Sharandys. It was brilliant to see the students so involved and learning about the countryside in which they live.

Sharon gave an informative talk and then the students were allowed to handle the birds - one of the highlights of the day. Educational resources were also provided and really made the students think. Most people even enjoyed the gruesome task of dissecting some pellets.

I would thoroughly recommend Sharandys to anyone, it is particularly good if you are looking for an interesting activity to support the national curriculum as it ties in perfectly with work on habitats and adaptation.
Perhaps these students will go on to take up falconry as a hobby or just be more aware of the dangers facing some of these beautiful birds.
